Accidents
In the event of an accident do not accept or deny liability. The insurance
company will decide liability based on the information it is given.
Make sure that you take note of the name and address of the other driver(s), the registration of the other involved vehicles and other drivers insurance details (company and if possible the policy number).
It is also useful to get the names and addresses of any witnesses and to make a sketch of the relative position of vehicles or even a picture from a mobile phone.
All accidents (no matter how minor) are to be reported to the C.T.P. within 24 hours. Any accident involving a third party should also be reported to the police.
Failure to comply may result in the driver taking full liability for costs.
Breakdowns
The vehicles are covered by Wrightsure. The appropriate
card will be shown on the vehicle windscreen.
Explain that you are driving a minibus and the breakdown service will
be with you within half an hour. The fleet has home-start
so the breakdown service will come to you if you cannot start the vehicle
while it is in the CTP yard.
